New AI models come out every week. Many say they are open. But open can mean many things. We read the license, check who made the model, and work out what computer you need. Then we say it in plain words.
How we stay honest
- Every fact links to its source and shows the date we checked it.
- If we could not confirm something, we say "not yet checked".
- Our scoring method is public.
- No one can pay to change a score. See our disclosure policy.
- Every page aims for a 10th grade reading level or lower.
